Direct water taxi boat transfer from Split Airport to Hvar

From Split to Hvar you can come in two ways – private speedboat transfer and public transport

Private speedboat transfer – approx. 1 hour

The fastest way to travel is a direct speedboat transfer from Split Airport to Hvar. When you arrive at the airport our driver will be waiting for you with a sign with your name. He will take you to the nearby taxi boat dock (700 m away, 4 minutes).

After only 60 minutes of pleasant ride you will arrive to Hvar where skipper can drop off you near your hotel. During this transfer to Hvar you will have a wonderful panoramic ride between the islands of Brač and Šolta. Before arriving to the town of Hvar you will pass next to the most famous archipelago of the Pakleni islands.

Public ferry transportation – approx. 7 hours

Second option is much longer public ferry transport. If you opt for this option we need to inform you that it can take about 7 hours. For example, If you land at 10am at Split airport, the first ferry is at 14:30 from Split harbour. Taxi ride from airport to the ferry port lasts for about 45 to 60 minutes due to heavy traffic during the summer season.

At 14:30 you boarded a ferry that drives to Stari Grad because the town of Hvar does not have a ferry port. The expected arrival at Stari Grad is at 16:30. There you need again to use car taxi service to the city of Hvar which is 25 km or about 45 minutes ride away.

This option is not so popular because people realize that they travelled three times longer from Split Airport to Hvar, than from London to Split airport.
